Just upgrade the sub-panel in the garage and add new breaker for the NEMA 14-50.The LMC's job is to watch the total electrical load being used in the house and only deliver to the NEMA 14-50 socket/charger what is currently available without overloading the circuit. Install an 'Load Management Controller' (LMC) and connects the NEMA 14-50 through it (I assume that is the case?).Upgrade external/main panel and the sub panel as well to get more power/amperage into the house.Since both of the panels are full (no more empty slot to add new breaker), here are 3 options that were given to me from 3 different electricians.
Looking into installing the NEMA 14-50 in my garage to plug the charger that comes with the i4.
